Malai kofta recipe
Try this delicious recipe of malai kofta just like market style at your home. Perfect for lunch and dinner. It tastes awesome with naan, chapati, roti and rice. Perfect for parties and festivals. Instructions
  1. For making kofta, first mix all the ingredients and make a smooth dough
  2. Mix all the ingredients above in a separate bowl for making stuffing
  3. Take small portion from dough and put stuffing in between seal it properly from all the sides and give a shape of ball
  4. Deep fry all the balls in to hot oil
  5. For making gravy, heat the oil and slightly roast all the whole spices
  6. Saute ginger garlic, tomato and onion paste for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Add cashew nut and raisins paste in to it
  8. Add all the dry spices, fenugreek and fresh cream
  9. Mix it well and add little water to this
  10. Mix it and add kofta in to it and let it cook for 1-2 minutes
  11. Switch off the flame and garnish it with fresh cream and coriander leaves
  12. Serve hot

Ingredients

For kofta-

  • Grated paneer
  • Grated potato
  • Cornflour
  • Salt
  • Garam masala
  • Red chilly

For stuffing-

  • Grated paneer
  • Fresh cream
  • Green chilly
  • Cashew nut
  • Salt
  • Garam masala
  • Red chilly

For gravy-

  • Onion puree
  • Tomato puree
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Cashew nut and raisin paste
  • Salt
  • Garam masala
  • Coriander powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chilly
  • Chana masala
  • Sugar
  • Fresh coriander
  • Green chilly
  • Fresh cream
  • Dry fenugreek
  • Cinnamon stick
  • Bay leaf
  • Cloves
  • Black pepper
  • Cardamom

Preparation
