  1. First in a jar of blender, churn soaked urad dal by adding only a spoon or two water.
  2. Make thick paste and transfer this in to big bowl or plate.
  3. Add salt, asafoetida and garam masala
  4. Beat this with your hands for 8-10 minutes
  5. Heat the oil in a kadai and deep fry all the vadas on medium flame till slightly golden brown.
  6. Dip all the vadas into luke warm water for an hour.
  7. After that squeeze all the water and put them on a serving plate.
  8. And add curd, chutneys as per your taste.
  9. Sprinkle some red chilly powder, garam masala and black salt.
  10. Serve it.
