  1. First in pressure cooker boil dal by adding water, salt, turmeric and asafoetida for 2-3 whistles.
  2. Transfer the daal in to serving bowls.
  3. Now add lime juice, garam masala, cumin powder, black salt, red chilly powder, green chutney and butter.
  4. Serve this hot.
