A yummy and tasty sweet tamarind chutney recipe exact as market style. Perfect texture and perfect taste which goes well with samosa, pakodas and kachoris. This can also be served with aloo chaat, raj kachori and laccha tokri. You can prepare it with very few ingredients in very less time. See the recipe below

Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp kashmiri red chilly
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1/2 tsp black salt
- 1/4 tsp Dry ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 cup Tamarind
For tempering
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- asafoetida pinch of
- 1/2 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp chilly flakes

Instructions
- In a kadai, add water and sugar, mix properly
- Add all the spices, salt and tamarind
- Let it cook on medium high flame for 15 minutes
- After 15 minutes strain this with sieve and remove all tamarind seeds and pulp.
- Again transfer this in to kadai and let it cook for 5-10 minutes on medium
- In tadka pan heat oil add cumin seeds and asafoetida
- Let it crackle and switch off the flame
- Add chilly flake and quickly pour this on chutney
- Fill the jar with chutney and store this in refrigerator for longer use.
