Methi matar malai recipe
Very creamy and very buttery methi matar malai recipe. Methi is not generally loved by all and specially by kids, they don't want to eat this. Now your kids will also love to eat methi, if you will prepare it in this way. Perfect taste and mouthwatering gravy for your lunch and dinner. It goes well with naan, kulcha, roti and paratha. Instructions
  1. In a pan, heat the butter and saute all the whole spices
  2. Saute ginger garlic and onion paste for 1-2 minutes
  3. Add milk and cream mix it until 2-3 boils
  4. Add dry spices and fenugreek and peas
  5. Mix it all well
  6. Add water and dry fenugreek and cook it for 3-4 minutes
  7. Garnish it with fresh coriander
  8. Serve hot

Ingredients

  • Butter
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1-2 green cardamom
  • 1-2 cloves
  • 1-2 black pepper
  • 1 cup blenched onion cashew paste
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • Salt
  • Chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup blenched fenugreek
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • Fresh coriander
  • Boiled peas

Preparation
