Try this chhole chatpate recipe at your home, perfect spicy and chatpate chhole is the best meal which you can serve in your lunch and dinner. It goes well with rice, roti, naan and kulcha. It is the combination of boiled chickpeas well toasted in to onion, tomato and all the spices. Very easy and simple recipe to make this chatpate chhole at home. See the recipe below.

Ingredients
- 1 bowl Boiled chickpeas
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1/2 cup tomato chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 Green chilly chopped
- 1 tbsp beetroot grated
- 1 tbsp Carrot grated
- 1 lime juice
- 1/2 cup curd
- Fresh Coriander
- Salt
- Red chilly
- Garam masala
- Coriander powder
- Turmeric powder
- Chhole masala powder
For tempering
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp red chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
- asafoetida pinch of
- Curry leaves

Instructions
- Take a non stick pan heat oil and add cumin seeds and asafoetida.
- Wait till crackle add add all the remaining ingredients.
- Once it cooked add onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, green chilly.
- Cook it on high flame for 3-4 minutes.
- Add all the spices and curd.
- Mix it continuously until you get 1-2 boils.
- Add very less water and add boiled chickpeas.
- Mix it properly and cover it with lid for 5 minutes.
- Add beetroot, carrot, lime juice and fresh coriander.
- Mix it well.
- Serve it hot.
