Everyone's favourite dessert gajar ka halwa (carrot halwa) recipe is here. A perfect and tasty recipe without condensed milk, milkmaid and khoya or mawa. A good recipe for any party and occasion. It can be served in both the ways either hot or chilled. Sometimes its goes really well with ice creams. People love to relish this in winters specially. A yummy combination of grated carrots perfectly roasted in to clarified butter and topped with roasted dry fruits taste awesome. See the recipe below.

Ingredients
- 1 large bowl grated carrot
- 1/2 cup sugar or as per taste
- 1/2 litre milk
- 1 tbsp Cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1/4 cup Dry fruits chopped
- 6-7 saffron threads

Instructions
- First in a non stick kadai add ghee
- Once the ghee is hot, saute all dry fruits and grated carrots for 1-2 minutes on high flame
- Add sugar and milk and mix properly
- Add cardamom powder and saffron
- Mix it on a high flame till all the milk dries out completely
- Again add some ghee and saute it for a minute to enhanced its flavour
- Garnish it with dry fruits and serve hot
