Sambar is very famous recipe in south India. You can serve this with idly, dosa and vada. A combination of many vegetables with idly and dosa taste awesome. You can make this in breakfast, lunch and dinner. It a complete and healthy meal which you can serve to your kids. Easy way to make sambhar at home. See the recipe below.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- leaves Curry
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp sambhar masala
- 1-2 tbsp chana dal soaked for 2 hours
- potato boiled
- Carrot boiled
- Capsicum boiled
- onion boiled
- bottle gourd boiled
- 1/2 cup tamarind water

Instructions
- In a pan add oil, mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add red chilly, garam masala, coriander powder and turmeric powder.
- Saute tomato for 1-2 minutes.
- Add sambhar masala and all the boiled vegetables and dal. (boil all the vegetables and dal in pressure cooker by adding salt and turmeric powder)
- Cover it and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tamarind water and mix.
- Serve hot.
