Boondi ki kadhi

Boondi ki kadhi
Instructions
  1. In a big bowl, mix curd and besan properly and avoid lumps.
  2. Add water as per requirement, then add salt and turmeric powder
  3. Mix all well.
  4. In kadai, heat ghee or oil.
  5. Add cumin, mustard, fenugreek seeds
  6. Add curry leaves, red chilly and garam masala
  7. Let it crackle for a minute.
  8. Add curd batter and mix it continuously for 1-2 minutes
  9. After 4-5 boils, add tartaric acid and stir continuously for 3-4 boils
  10. Cook it for 10 minutes on medium flame
  11. Add boondi and again cook it for couple of more minutes
  12. In last add fresh coriander
  13. In tadka pan, prepare tadka by adding ghee, cumin and mustard seeds
  14. Add ginger garlic paste and chopped onion
  15. Put the tadka in kadhi and mix
  16. Serve hot with rice and roti.

  • 2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 2 tsp red chilly
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 3 tbsp besan/gram flour
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • Water
  • Salt
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • Curry leaves
  • Fresh coriander
  • 1 tbsp chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Asafoetida
  • 1 cup masala boondi
  • 1/4 tsp tartaric acid
