Bread pakoda is a most popular deep fried snack which goes well with tea and coffee. People generally make this in breakfast and with evening tea and we all love to eat this. Now a days people are conscious about their health so they avoid to eat this deep fried snack but no worries now. Try this shallow fried bread pakoda recipe at your home. Instructions
  1. First mix potato, onion, fresh coriander, chilies and all the spices.
  2. On one bread piece, apply green chutney and on second apply sweet chutney
  3. In between put the potato stuffing
  4. In another bowl, take gram flour and add all the spices again and with water make pouring consistency batter
  5. Dip breads in it and on tawa shallow fry till golden brown
  6. Serve hot

Ingredients

  • Bread pieces
  • Green chutney
  • Sweet chutney
  • Boiled potato
  • Chopped onion
  • Salt
  • Red chilly
  • Garam masala
  • Chat masala
  • Chopped coriander
  • Green chilies
  • Gram flour/besan
  • Carom seeds
  • Oil
  • Asafoetida

Preparation

  • First mix potato, onion, fresh coriander, chilies and all the spices.
  • On one bread piece apply green chutney and on second apply sweet chutney
  • In between put the potato stuffing
  • In another bowl take gram flour and add all try spices again and with water make pouring consistency batter
  • Dip breads on it and on tawa shallow fry till golden brown
  • Serve hot
