Vada pav recipe
Vada pav is maharashtrian dish. It originated as a street food but it now widely served in resturants through out India. Perfect recipe for food lovers. Mumbai vada pav recipe at home in market style

Instructions
  1. In a pan heat oil add cumin and green paste
  2. Add boiled potato and all spices and cook it for 2-3 minutes and add fresh coriander
  3. Let it cool down and make vada
  4. In a separate bowl take gram flour
  5. with the help of water prepare a thick batter
  6. Dip vada in to it and deep fry till golden brown
  7. Take pav and cut this from centre
  8. On first side apply green chutney and on second side apply tomato sauce and tikha masala
  9. Put vada in the centre and sprinkle zero no. namkeen
  10. Serve the vada pav with green chutney.

Ingredients

For green paste

  • Fresh coriander
  • Green chilly
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Cumin seeds
  • Onion

For vada

  • Boiled potato
  • Salt
  • Red chilly
  • Garam masala
  • Mango Powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Gram flour
  • Baking powder

Preparation

  • In a pan heat oil add cumin and green paste
  • Add boiled potato and all spices and cook it for 2-3 minutes and add fresh coriander
  • Let it cool down and make vada
  • In a separate bowl take gram flour
  • Add salt, baking powder, turmeric and water
  • Prepare a thick batter
  • Dip vada in to it and deep fry till golden brown
  • Take pav and cut this from centre
  • On first side apply green chutney and on second side apply tomato sauce and tikha masala
  • Put vada in the centre and sprinkle zero no. namkeen
  • Serve the vada pav with green chutney.
