Ingredients

- 2 tbsp besan
- 1 cup curd
- Salt
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
- cumin seeds
- fenugreek seeds
- Tartaric acid (or lime juice)

Instructions
For pakodi
- Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl by adding water and make a smooth and thick batter.
- After mixing, add soda into it in last.
- Heat the oil and deep fry all the pakodas.
For gravy
- Take a large bowl, mix curd and gram flour together.
- Make a smooth paste by avoiding lumps.
- Add turmeric, garam masala and chilli powder and mix.
- Add salt and mix it properly.
- Add very less amount of water at a time.
- Make a thin gravy.
- Heat the oil in kadai.
- Add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and red chilli powder.
- Once its cooked, add your kadhi battar into it and mix.
- Wait until you get one or two boils then add your tartaric acid or lime juice.
- Give a quick stir and allow it to cook again till 2-3 boils.
- Add pakodi and cover it with lid.
- Cook it for 15-20 minutes on medium flame.
- Add tadka of ghee into it.
- Serve hot.
